FINAL EDIT: Every one's favourite pasta loving fool is played by none other than Todd Herberkorn!! Lol The only VA I guessed right XD! He makes an awesome Italy, I don't think they could have made a better choice. Italy got not one but two clips to reviel his VA along with the world meeting scene where we have the infamous "PASTA~!" line. FFF- I cannot stop listening to it XD lol It's almost as epic as the Japanese dub~! Along with Italy's VA, we got a few mor cast members:

EDIT 7: Every one's "hero" America is played by~ ERIC VALE! FFF-YES I KNOW HIM!! hehe, I find this kind of funny, because the character I know best that he plays is Yuki in furuba, quiet polite and reserved, the exact oposite of America XD! lol Ah! He sounds quite a bit like the japanese VA 8D! lol Any way, Last but not least, tomarow (<---The first time I typed that I accidentaly spelled TOMATO XD ) Is Italia~!! And then we'll have to waint two months for the other character's voices DX! lol

EDIT 6: This is one that many gussed right, France is voiced by J. Miechele(SP) Tatum. YES I ACCUALY KNOW HIM!!! XD lol I would hope so ^_^;; It fits...and stuff...Idk France is just France. LMAO BUT IN THE CLIP FUNI POSTED, FRANCE CALLS OUT MY ALLIED OTP! (USxUK) XD Buahahaha~ Ah I love the dub X3 . It's bugging me though, I recognize America's voice...BUT I DON'T KNOW WHERE FROM! DX lol Good thing America is tomarow, which means everyone's favourite pasta loving italian is going to be revieled friday~ *Hopes for Todd* lol till tomarow~!

EDIT 5: England is voiced by Scott Freeman! No, I don't know him either, but this time it's justified as this is his first non-background roll. I love it. It fits so well XD. And the clip Funi uploaded was hilarious~ This makes me quite excited to see the "Cleaning of the Storage" dubbed~ That and the "cluster-baka-bomb" in ep 26. LOL!

EDIT 4: China is voiced by someone els I don't know 8D *Shot* Ok, ok, he's voiced by Clarine Harp, who is also the DVD/Blu-ray manager at Funi. Hmmm...Theres somthing about China's voice the kindof bugs me...I think it may be the accent DX;; lol but not that it's bad, the voice fits pretty well (Though no one could do as good job on him as Yuuki Kaida) I'm sure I'll get used to it. I'm glad the kept China voiced by a girl. (Admitedly I couldn't tell at first ^_^;;) Any way,China's voice scors a B for me. X3 *shot* Next up tomarow is ENGLAND~ Hehe

EDIT 3: Japan is played by~ Christopher Bevins!...I don't know who he is either! lol anyway~ Japan's engrish is so...engrish! XD When I heard about funi using accents, one of the chracters I was worried about was Japan, but it works well! Right now I'm a little worried for Lithuania though XD;; Oh, and what does a Belarusian accent sound like? Sortof like a russian one? lol Belarus with an accent should be fun ... XD;; China is up next *fangirls* But his voice won't be revieled till monday. DX

EDIT 2: And Germany's VA is...Patrick Seitz! Who? lol I don't know many VAs other then the populare oned huh? Though appearantly he's Nekozawa (Ouran) And Akasaka (Higurashi) so I've heared him befor. Ah well, he fit's Germany well so it dosn't matter. Every day, Funimation will be releasing a major cast member, so I'll update this acourdingly. ^_^ Next is Japan.

EDIT: Funimation literally just posted a clip that revieled Russia's VA is DUN DUN DUN...
JERRY JEWEL~! If I remember corectly, alot of people thought he would be a good choice for Russia, and they were right! He makes a verry good Russia, and is able to switch between "cute" and "creepy" quite well. (Though part of me has the feeling I'm going to be reminded of Berry The Chopper XD;;) Plus he manages to to a very convinceing russian accent. At first I was hesitant about the accents but now I think I might be good. >w<>





I Think I just about exploded from squeeling when Funimation posted a video anoucing a majority of the side character's VAs.

As well as this, Funimation also had a small preview of the dub at AnimeExpo a few days ago, and from what I can hear, it's pretty good. America for one sound almost exactly like his japanese VA. I could only pick out a few voices but the ones I did sound awesome. Especialy England (HIS BRITISH ACCENT IS LOVE), China and Russia. Though sadly, I couldn't tell who played them. I might have heard Todd Hebercorn or Greg Ayres though...God I hope I did. lol

Now I'm way more excided for the dub to come out~!

Axis Power: Hetalia DUB

As most probably know already, FUNimation has bought the rights to the first two seasons of Hetalia and will be releasing the english dub this fall. Similer to what I did with Vampire Knight, I've been stalking the internet each day to see if there has been any update to the cast. (No, I really don't have a life.) And I've noticed there seem to be alot of rumors and opinions about the cast. The most common rumor I've come across is "Vic Mignogina want's/wanted to play Italy." Not quite sure if there is truth in this, I've heard somthing around the lines of Vic is homophobic, so if that is true, I doubt he'd want to play a role thats cranked up to 11 in HoYay. I've also heard a rumor that he was going to play China. Yet again, not sure how much truth is in that, though it would be interesting... I'm still trying to sort out if that would fit or not XD;; . A mor recent rumor I heard was Travis Willgham playing America, which is just a big NO for me. o_O lol I seariously hope that one ISN'T true...lol

Alot of people don't want Vic in the dub though. Altough, most of them are Vic-Haters whoonly dislike him because "He's in EVERYTHING!" I (personaly) am a Vic fan, though I will admit, it can get tireing to here him in almost every dub, there IS a reason why he plays in so much: HE'S A GOOD VOICE ACTOR. Voice acting isn't child's play, it takes alot more work then most people think. Vic is one of few VA's that can really make a character come alive. Thats why he's in so much.

As for who should play who, opinions can be quite diverse. Though alot seem to agree on:

Germany= Travis Willingham

America= Johnny Yong Bosch

England= Crispin Freeman

I've also heard alot of Caitlin Glass as Hungary and Vic as Switzerland.

Another thing thats a big topic among fans about the release...Is it's rateing.

FUNimation rated it TV-MA.

Really?

Yes.

But-

I don't get it either ._.

Honestly, I've watched the whole thing in subs, I didn't really see anything to put it past TV-14... Makes me wonder just WHAT THE HELL FUNimation did to it to give it that rateing. o_O lol Yeah there's some sexual jokes/inuendo and TONS of yaoi undertones. but nothing to make it THAT bad! Rateing it TV-MA is puting it up there with RIN: Daughters of Mnemosyne! (RIN is another anime FUNimation dubbed that is also TV-MA, It's Extreamly violent and sexual, borderlineing hentai in some parts) lol, sometimes I just don't get you FUNi...XD ah, well dosn't matter to me! I'll still get it either way! *Hetalia fantard*

The DVD is being released EXACTLY one moth befor my birthday...Can you all guess what I'm asking for? XD
